That is a good snack especially if you add some protein like a hard boiled egg.

Hi! I am going to order some Walden Farms dressings (from the site you recommended previously) Are any of them better/worse than any others? Or are there any you would recommend? Also can I have their BBQ for my chicken?

Also, may I have Kraft Olive Oil Mayo?

    Thanks!

      @ Jill,
On that site, you can do a pull down of nutrition. I pick out the ones with lower sodium, and try to use only a small amount. It all depends on what you like, but the Thousand Island and Cole Slaw are favorites here. A very small amount of Canola may be used. Have not experimented with other WF products.

I’m just about to start my 3rd Advocare cleanse program and I love it (over 2+ years) I found the key is to weigh yourself before the cleanse and don’t get back on the scale until you are done (do it on day 11 after the cleanse if you just need to see). Weight is do wishy-washy and reflects a lot more than food intake. Better idea is take body measurements … after all, it’s how good you feel in that dress that beats out a number on a scale! Healthy Girl, you’re comments are right on what other consultants suggest so thank you for confirming as I start another cleaning adventure! Forget about loosing weight and focus on getting healthy. You can do anything for 24 days!!

I’m starting this challenge tomorrow, but I worry about the calorie intake. According to nutritionists, I should be consuming 2000 calories, since I workout 5 days a week, 1.5-2 hrs a day. After making a sample menu, it doesn’t seem like I’ll be consuming enough cals. Should I up the portions on the menu, or do you have another suggestion?

I’m thinking this is how my day’s should go to maximize results (on day 4)
BFast: 1/2 cup fruit & 3 oz lean turkey sausage
Morning snack: 2 Hboiled eggs & 1/2 C. Veg or Fruit
Lunch 4 oz Protein, 1 Cup Veg & 1/4 cup beans
Snack: 2 oz Avacado or Nuts & Fruit or Veg
Dinner: 4 oz Protein, 2 Cups Greens

Does this sound like optimal meal plan? I was eating oatmeal and whole grain rice but it looks like omitting that will yield better results? I have a terrible coach and am getting confused. Thank you!

      @ Chelsea,
That sounds good, but would tweak a little. Instead of turkey sausage (could contain sugar, wheat, nitrates, lots of sodium), use hard boiled egg and 1 cup fruit. Snack can be 100 calorie bag of almonds.

Snack: 100 calorie bag of raw almonds (if I’m hungry???)
Lunch ;chef salad w/ 4oz of turkey breast (romaine lettuce) and light dressing (low sugar and low sodium)
Snack: cucumbers or a fruit and (how many can I have????)
Dinner: 4oz of turkey and or venison, tossed salad (light dressing) do I need to have the complex carb???
Snack: do i need to have a snack after dinner?????

Breakfast. Spark on waking then fiber drink. Breakfast is half hour later. Hard boiled egg and fruit is best. No light dressing See this. Snack should include a protein. Complex carb is not required.

I was unable to drink the fiber drink on day one of the cleanse due to the taste and it being so thick. I was advised to drink it with half water half orange juice. I did this and it is much easier to drink. Is this ok? Or I am messing up the whole process??

Different teams have slightly different guidelines. Our group has been doing this method with great results for years. It is fine to eat a complex carb on the cleanse, but keep your carb intake to 100 grams per day. This includes Spark, fruit, veggies.

I also misunderstood the “complex carbs.” We’ve eaten wheat bread/roll on day one and today on day 3. Should I just stop eating the bread? Will we still get desired results? We’ve already lost 4 lbs. each (and I only started at 132 – :-))

    Thanks in advance!

Not suggested. Look at the ingredients:Filtered water, tapioca flour, palm fruit oil, non-GMO expeller pressed canola and/or pressed safflower oil, pea protein, coconut oil, salt, inactive yeast, vegetable glycerin, xanthan gum, vegan natural flavours, gum arabic, lactic acid (vegan, for flavor), annatto, titanium dioxide (a naturally occurring mineral), natural smoke flavour, vegan enzyme. And high in carbs.

Our team finds best results when keeping carbs to 100 per day and no more than 30 at a meal. We also eliminate dairy during the cleanse. Many people find they feel better and lose quicker continuing in that fashion.

I am on day 5 of the cleanse and am not sure if I’m eating enough? The best way for me to track food is by calories….I’m eating only lean meat, fruits, and veggies, and almonds and that is all…it’s usually under 1,000 calories and I’ve always been told that is not enough? Any thoughts on the amount I should be eating? The supplements and schedule are easy and I have that down…just not sure about the food? help! 🙂

I’m on day 2 of the cleanse. For breakfast I have egg whites and oatmeal, lunch I have fish-veggies-and sweet potato, and dinner I have fish and veggies again. Does this sound like doin this right? The pamphlet says to have a complex carb for breakfast and lunch. Dinner it’s optional. It just seems like your comments from above aren’t matching the pamphlet for complex carbs. Now thinking I’m having too many? I don’t want to feel like I wasted my money on this.
