Your 10 day cleanse checklist says to have the fiber drink with breakfast, your 10 day cleanse program instructions say to have the fiber drink and wait 30 minutes and have fruit and the 24 day challenge daily guide that came with the kit says to have a protein, complex carb and fruit for breakfast. Which is correct? It is frustrating because of the conflicting information.

      @ Joj,
      Drink plain water and Spark.
You can use 1-2 T of natural peanut butter WITH NO SUGAR ADDED for a snack, as long as you are losing okay. 100 calorie bags of raw almonds are good for snacks.

I am about to start my challenge, and just preparing my grocery list. I am just i bit confused on Breakfast vs. Morning Snack in the cleanse phase. Should it be a protein, complex carb, and fruit as listed in the documents. I have also read on older documents, just fruit and protein. The morning snack should also be protein and fruit? Can you please clarify. Also how many complex carbs a day during cleanse? Thanks

There are several ways to do this. Our team follows:
Fruit for breakfast and hardboiled eggs as snacks or enjoy them both for breakfast.
1 complex carb a day for best results.
Raw almonds in 100 calorie bags are a good snack also.

Stick to the recommended foods for best results. Soy Crisps are high in carbs and have wheat in them. The pine nut hummus is higher in fat and calories than some of the others.

I see above states we should avoid the meal replacement during the 10 day cleanse. however, the directions state that is optional. we started the cleanse today and did the meal replacement…should we just do fruit for breakfast or will it be ok to do the meal replacement for breakfast for all 24 days.

For those who seem lost on dietary guidelines, you have to do a little research. On fruits, since we’re trying to cut down as much sugar as possible, you want to eat low-glycemic fruits, these are, in order starting with the best, any kind of berry, cherries, apples, pears, grapefruit, peaches, apricots & figs. Try to avoid melons, mangoes, papayas, and pineapples as they are very high in sugar, bananas, oranges & nectarines as well. As far as anything else here’s a basic rule- if it comes in a box or a wrapper, don’t get it, its processed. stay in the produce section and chicken/turkey BREAST, and fish. Oh and eggs- boiled, not fried. Poached would probably be okay too.

      @ Heather,
The cleanse is preparing your body to lose weight and helping you eliminate food addictions. The doctors recommend once every 90 days. No juice, but you will have meal replacement shakes in Phase 2. Add some ice and put in a blender so that you enjoy as a smoothie. After the 24 Days, you can add frozen fruit to these.
